BOBBINS, PIRNS AND QUILLS

For our conventional, side-delivery boat shuttles we recommend Schacht bobbins, but our shuttles will hold many other brands as well.

Our 13" end-feed shuttles use 5.5" wood or AVL black plastic pirns. Note: 6" Schacht wood or red plastic pirns will NOT fit these shuttle.

Our 15" end-feed shuttles use 8" wood pirns, including Schact 8" prins (or 8" AVL black plastic pirns).

Our mini-end feed shuttles use Glimakra tapered, paper pirns.

With our Swedish-style boat shuttles, you may use purchased paper quills or make your own following our simple instructions.
